Most online converters make you upload your files to their servers, wait in a queue, dodge ads, and hit a size limit before nagging you to sign up.
I wanted one that just works — so I built useformat to run conversion right inside your browser. Your files never touch a server in browser mode, nothing gets logged, and there's no sign-up. It's free because I'd rather make something that genuinely helps people than sell their data.
It's a passion project — I build things I wish existed. If it's useful to you too, that's the whole point.

The browser version handles most things. A native useformat app — Mac, Windows, maybe iOS — will do everything locally: DOCX, PowerPoint, Kindle books, RAW photos, huge videos, with no size limits and still fully private. Same idea, no browser ceiling.
No release date yet — it's built when it's built. Watch funkycat.dev for news.

useformat is free and runs on a small server I pay for out of pocket. If it's useful to you, a coffee helps keep it running — no pressure though.
